Ten supervisor seats were up for grabs across Long Island in 2025, along with council positions and a mayoral post. Hempstead Supervisor John Ferretti held a lead over Joseph Scianablo, with almost 82% of election precincts counted, and declared victory.

“We took all three towns,”said Nassau Republican Committee Chairman Joseph G. at Nassau County GOP election headquarters.
The fate of dozens of supervisor and council races, and a mayoral race, took shape after polling booths closed across Long Island.
