Arkansas men's basketball coach John Calipari aims to bring his team to different parts of the state. The Razorbacks returned to Bank OZK Arena on Sunday with the Tip-Off Tour.
Last season, the team was not healthy enough to scrimmage in Hot Springs. This time, Karim Rtail was the only player unavailable.
“It’s good because we need to play against [Cincinnati and Memphis in exhibitions],” Calipari said. “They did some good stuff.”
The scrimmage was the first time the team played in front of a crowd, outside of an uncompetitive scrimmage at Primetime at the Palace on Oct. 3.
“It was fun, just getting out and exploring Arkansas a little more,” forward Malique Ewin said. “Just playing with each other, that’s it.”
