Lessons from Finland’s Economic Model

Finland, a European country, has been chosen as the happiest country in the world by a UN survey for eight years in a row.

In contrast, Nigerians were once described as the happiest people on earth, but this was due to their inactions and complacency in the face of extreme hardship and lack of wellbeing during the dictatorial rule of late General Sani Abacha.

The happiest people and the happiest country, you can decide to be happy in an unhappy country, but you can’t afford to be sad in a happy country, especially one which possesses all the ingredients of happiness and wellness.

This highlights the difference between Finland's economic model and other countries, including Nigeria.
