The Barbados Postal Service (BPS) has suspended mail services to the United States, its dependencies, and Canada due to challenges from shifting Customs and labour conditions abroad.
Postmaster General, Joanne Busby, confirmed that effective September 24, all Universal Postal Union (UPU) mail services to the affected areas have been temporarily halted.
Affected areas include the United States, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and Canada.
No statement was given on when the services will resume.
