A helicopter crashed in Huntington Beach, California, on Saturday, injuring five people.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. local time in a beach parking lot between Twin Dolphins Drive and Beach Boulevard, according to city officials.
A city of Huntington Beach spokesperson said the victims were all taken to area hospitals in unknown conditions.
The city said in a news release the helicopter was associated with a "Cars and Copters" event scheduled for Sunday.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have been notified, the city said.
