According to CNBC, PayPal has signed a contract with OpenAI to integrate its digital wallet into ChatGPT, allowing users to pay for discovered products directly within the chat.

Previously, OpenAI announced Instant Checkout integrations with Walmart, Shopify, and Etsy in the US, further expanding its e-commerce capabilities.
PayPal seeks to position itself alongside leading AI providers, including Google and Perplexity, through this partnership.
