PARIMA, a French cultivated meat company, has gained regulatory approval from the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) for its cultivated chicken.
This milestone makes PARIMA the first European company to receive approval for cultivated meat, achieved through close collaboration with SFA to demonstrate compliance with food safety, quality, and transparency requirements.
"This approval is a landmark for European food innovation and the global cultivated foods sector," said Etienne Duthoit, founder of Vital Meat and a founding member of Cellular Agriculture Europe.
