Starship Technologies Inc. has raised $50 million in Series C investment, bringing its total funding to over $280 million.
The company plans to use this funding to expand its robotic deliveries from campuses and European cities to the U.S.
“Delivery robotics is the next wave of urban logistics, shaping a once-in-a-generation shift in how goods move through cities,”
said Ahti Heinla, co-founder and CEO of Starship Technologies. The goal is to replicate the company's success in European urban markets and U.S. university campuses in North American cities.
With this expansion, consumers can expect sub-30-minute delivery by Starship robots to become the new standard.
