Landmark New Report Shows Canadian Lobbyists Represent Major Polluters Alongside Environmental Groups
A major conflict of interest has been revealed in a new report by FMinus, which shows that Canada's climate action is being hindered by Big Oil's lobbying efforts.
Major Canadian environmental organizations, as well as civil society organizations, are using lobbyists who also represent Canada's biggest polluters.
"As the climate crisis gets worse for Canadians, there’s a hidden cause,"said James Browning, founder and executive director of FMinus.
The report was prepared in conjunction with Environmental Defence and re•generation, a youth climate advocacy organization.
