Power Outage in Burlington and Sedro-Woolley
Thousands of residents in Burlington and Sedro-Woolley experienced a power outage on Saturday morning, October 25, due to a car crash that caused heavy damage to transformers.
According to Puget Sound Energy, more than 5,400 customers in Sedro-Woolley and Burlington lost power earlier in the day, with over 1,000 customers in Sedro-Woolley still without power as of 1 p.m.
The Sedro-Woolley police reported that a motor vehicle crash around 7 a.m. at Wicker Road and Fruitdale Road likely led to the large power outage.

- Power is estimated to be restored to the remaining customers around 2:30 p.m., according to PSE.
