BYD announced that the YANGWANG U9 Xtreme has achieved a new lap record for Electric Super Sports Cars around the Nürburgring, also known as the 'Green Hell' of motorsport.
The YANGWANG U9 Xtreme, already the fastest car on the planet, has set another benchmark with a lap time of 6m59s at the 20.832km Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit on 22 August 2025.
