Trans Americas Fiber System (TAFS) will use Ciena's GeoMesh Extreme and 6500 Reconfigurable Line System in its 7,200km TAM-1 subsea cable system, connecting Central America and the Caribbean to the US.
The submarine network will have landing points in Florida, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Panama.
