Woman Arrested on Suspicion of Murder After Two Children Found Dead
Police were called to a home in Stafford at around 7:30am on Sunday morning by the West Midlands Ambulance Service, where two children were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 43-year-old woman from the Stafford area was taken into custody on suspicion of murder. The next of kin of the children have been informed and are receiving support from specially-trained officers.
Detective Inspector Kirsty Oldfield urged the public not to speculate about the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the two children in Stafford.
