64 South Koreans Detained in Cambodia Return Home

A total of 64 South Koreans detained in Cambodia over alleged online scams arrived home on a chartered flight.

Most of them will face criminal probes as suspects, according to police officials.

The repatriation follows the torture death of a South Korean college student who was lured to work by a criminal ring in Cambodia, triggering public outrage in South Korea.

The Korean Air plane carrying them arrived at Incheon International Airport at 8:35 a.m.

The plane left Techo International Airport near Phnom Penh about five hours earlier.
