New Student Accommodation in Glasgow's West End
Proposals for new student flats in Glasgow's west end have been recommended for approval.
The University of Glasgow plans to develop 291 rooms at Lilybank Gardens, a current car park near Hillhead Subway Station, Byres Road, and Ashton Lane.
- The development will include open space and environmental improvement work.
- Commercial space will be available on the ground floor.
The accommodation will help develop a "purpose-built" solution to the university's residential requirements, prioritising the wellbeing of the student population.
The proposals are overseen by Stallan-Brand and LUC, with a focus on the student experience.
