Isabella Historical Society Recognized as Semiquincentennial School
Isabella High School's Historical Society has been recognized as an Alabama Semiquincentennial School.
This recognition comes from meeting the criteria set forth by the USA Semiquincentennial Commission in Alabama and the American Village.
"It's the icing on top for this year,"
said Tom McCall, sponsor for the historical society.
Criteria for Recognition
To be recognized as a semiquincentennial school, a school must participate in the America250AL initiative by focusing on patriotism, civic duty, and American history through community projects and coursework.
