Windows 10 has officially reached its end-of-life stage, meaning Microsoft has stopped supporting it. Although some security updates are still available for download, they will soon be discontinued.
End of life refers to the point at which a software maker stops supporting a particular operating system or OS. This means that customer service and automatic updates will no longer be available.
Windows 10 was a successful replacement for Windows 8, launched in 2015, but has now been replaced by Windows 11, released in 2021. Despite this, many users continued to use Windows 10, just like they did with XP and Windows 98.
Several sources have ranked the Windows Operating Systems, and while the legendary XP may have been 'the' best, Windows 98 and Windows 10 are on the top four list.
As of now, Microsoft has stopped making and sending security patches and fixes for Windows 10. While the OS will still work, users will not be able to receive customer service or automatic updates.
