A judge has ruled that six previous acts of Tavaris Jackson, accused of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend in 2023, can be raised at his upcoming trial.
Jackson, 35, faces charges of open murder and appeared virtually in the 47th Circuit Court of Delta County for a defense motion to exclude certain evidence in trial.
Judge John Economopoulos said six of the nine acts the Michigan Attorney General’s Office sought to include as evidence did have relevance in the case.
The ruling allows prosecutors to include these six previous acts as evidence in the trial.
