US 60 has suffered significant damage due to recent storms in the Globe area.
A video sent to Arizona's Family shows destroyed guardrails, cracked pavement, and other damage. Flooding continues to be a problem for motorists in the area.
The closure was first announced on Saturday. On Sunday, ADOT posted that US 60 was closed in both directions between Superior and Miami due to severe flooding in the downtown area.
Some lanes were partially reopened later, but ADOT shut down traffic in both directions once again late Monday morning. There is no estimated time for the highway to reopen.
