Charges Upgraded to First-Degree Murder in Jefferson City Shooting
The Cole County Prosecuting Attorney's Office announced that Michael A. Davis, 40, has had his charges upgraded to First-Degree Murder as of Tuesday morning.
Davis is accused of shooting two women, Shawna Davis, 39, and Sofie Mulcahey, 31, both of Jefferson City, who were transported to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia and succumbed to their injuries.

Davis will be formally arraigned at his next court appearance on Friday.
