40 years after Live After Death set a new standard for heavy metal live albums, this is the story of the epic and chaotic tour behind it.

In 1984, Iron Maiden were poised to take over the world with their fifth album, Powerslave, which would set the stage for their most epic undertaking yet.

The band had been on a rise since vocalist Bruce Dickinson joined three years previously, with increasingly ambitious tours for The Number Of The Beast and Piece Of Mind.
