Marc Marquez has undergone surgery for his right shoulder blade injury after a crash in Indonesia.
After a checkup, the medical team found that the coracoid fracture and ligament damage were not stabilizing as planned.
As a result, surgical stabilization and repair of the acromioclavicular ligaments were performed at the Ruber Internacional Hospital in Madrid, Spain.
The surgery was one of the options considered by doctors from the outset in case the conservative treatment failed.
