The Charlotte Spark Festival returns to NoDa Brewing on November 8 for a single-day celebration themed “Under the Big Top.” The event transforms the venue into a circus-inspired space featuring live music, art, food, and local vendors.
From November 7–23, Three Bone Theatre stages Eureka Day at The Arts Factory, 1545 W. Trade St. Written by Jonathan Spector and directed by Tonya Bludsworth, the play explores how progressive ideals collide with real-world uncertainty during a school health crisis.
“The Eureka Day School in Berkeley, California, is a bastion of progressive ideals: representation, acceptance, social justice.”
As a mumps outbreak unfolds, the school board’s commitment to consensus and inclusivity is tested when truth itself becomes contested. The show is recommended for ages 14 and older due to themes of illness, death, and public health crises. Tickets are available online for $30, at the door for $35, and $20 for students and educators through threebonetheatre.com.
A vibrant mix of art and performance, Charlotte’s festival and theater scene invite audiences to experience creativity, community, and conversation across a single inspiring weekend.
