Elon University’s Summer Business Institute is a 10-week program based in Charlotte that enables students to complete a Business Administration minor in one summer. Applications are open now, with an Early Decision deadline on December 15.

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business has launched this immersive institute to help students gain real-world business knowledge through coursework that blends AI tools, applied projects, and professional experiences.
Curriculum and Structure
- Students complete a sequence of core business courses integrating AI-driven applications, case studies, and hands-on learning.
- The curriculum covers key disciplines such as accounting, marketing, management, and finance.
- Participants also complete an introductory economics course either before or after the Charlotte session to fulfill minor requirements.
Target Participants
The institute primarily serves non-business majors seeking business fundamentals, as well as business students at the start of their studies wanting early exposure to practical business skills.
