Joy played one of the finest innings of his young Test career, scoring an unbeaten 169 runs off 283 balls. His resilient and composed innings included 14 fours and four sixes, guiding Bangladesh to 338/1 at stumps and securing a 52-run lead after Ireland was dismissed for 286 earlier in the day.
