LoL Esports 2025 World Championship
The 2025 League of Legends World Championship Opening Ceremony, presented by Mastercard™, will take place on November 8 at 11 p.m. GMT at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium in Chengdu. This event marks the start of the biggest esports competition of the year, featuring performances by international artists.
Opening Ceremony Highlights
The ceremony will showcase a unique collaboration with DJ and producer Anyma, who joins Riot Games as a creative partner for ACT III of the event. Anyma will mix technology, art, and storytelling on stage, accompanied by vocals from acclaimed singers including Chinese pop star G.E.M., powerful vocalist Chrissy Costanza—known for her long-term work with League of Legends—and Austrian singer-songwriter TEYA.

- G.E.M. – Born in Shanghai (1991), raised in Hong Kong from age 4, she is a prominent Chinese pop singer, songwriter, producer, and screenwriter with over 120 original songs. Her hit "Light Years Away" holds the Guinness World Record for most views on a Chinese music video.
- Chrissy Costanza – Long-time League of Legends collaborator known for her dynamic vocal performances.
- TEYA – Austrian singer and songwriter contributing to the event's diverse musical lineup.
