Brendan Gallagher and Joe Veleno change lines

Brendan Gallagher and Joe Veleno Switch Lines

During this morning’s practice, the atmosphere was calm since the team has 18 healthy skaters available. This means no major changes were expected on the ice unless there is an unexpected recall.

Although the goaltending situation remains under observation, the team is currently stable without much turmoil. For example, Kapanen is protected by forwards Cole and Slafkovsky, and Caufield briefly played goalie before being checked by Demidov. The players seemed to enjoy the practice:

Kapanen forwards Cole and Slaf comes in to protect him. Caufield (playing goalie) then gets pecked by Demidov. The guys are having fun

Lineup Update

Even without new players, the Canadiens adjusted their offensive lines slightly from the previous game against the Senators at the Bell Centre:

Notably, Brendan Gallagher and Joe Veleno have swapped their positions.

Barring an eventual recall, that’s the reality of the club right now. Yes, we’re keeping an eye on the goaltending situation, but there’s not too much chaos in town at the moment.

Though no fresh faces have arrived, the Canadiens continue to tweak their lines to stay competitive.

Summary: The Canadiens maintain a stable roster with minor line changes, notably Gallagher and Veleno switching places, while monitoring goaltending and enjoying steady practice sessions.
