NBA Cup: Bucks Defeat Bulls with Giannis Antetokounmpo Scoring 41 Points

The Milwaukee Bucks maintained their perfect record in the NBA Cup group stage by defeating the Chicago Bulls 126-110 on Friday night. This victory marked Milwaukee's 9-0 record in three years of the NBA Cup group play.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 41 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists in the game.

Antetokounmpo scored 19 points in the fourth quarter to secure the win, shooting 16 of 32 from the field, which was his first time shooting below 61.5% this season. Teammate Myles Turner contributed 23 points, his highest since joining the Bucks, while Ryan Rollins added 20 points.

Previously, Milwaukee lost to Indiana in the NBA Cup semifinals two seasons ago but triumphed over Oklahoma City 97-81 in last year’s title game.

Chicago Bulls Performance

For the Bulls, Matas Buzelis scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Josh Giddey added 16 points, 14 assists, and seven rebounds.

Josh Giddey had triple-doubles in his last two games, becoming the first Bulls player with consecutive triple-doubles since Michael Jordan in April 1989.

Chicago started their NBA Cup campaign with a 135-125 win over New York.
