JD Cymru South: Cambrian United Extend Lead
Cambrian United, leaders of the JD Cymru South, widened their gap at the top of the table to four points with a 5-2 win over Cardiff Draconians at the M&P Group 3G on Saturday.

The opening 24 minutes in the Rhondda were intense. Sam Roberts scored a penalty for Cardiff Draconians, but Liam Eason, the league's top scorer, quickly equalized. Sam Cawley put the visitors ahead again, only for Eason to assist Cody Williams in leveling the score.
Cambrian United then took the lead for the first time as Eason scored his second goal in the 38th minute. Moments later, Williams added another to double the advantage.
Williams, aged 19, completed his first senior hat-trick by converting a late penalty, securing consecutive victories for Cambrian United.

On Friday night at the Marston’s Stadium, Afan Lido achieved their first home league win of the season, defeating title contenders Caerau Ely 3-2.
Despite being without a manager following Garry Taylor’s departure, Lido took an early lead after eight minutes when captain Ben Parry scored his first goal for the club with a header from Cory Woods’ cross. Woods also assisted the second goal, scored by Ioans Evans five minutes into the second half.
