Snow is expected to hit the UK with persistent flurries lasting six days, according to advanced weather models predicting up to 5cm of snowfall per hour in some areas.
Light snow will persist in Cairngorms National Park from November 16 to 18. On November 19, snow showers may drift southward, impacting northern England, Wales, the Midlands, and possibly reaching Southampton on the south coast.
