Jeremy Renner: Staggering Claims As Filmmaker Accuses Actor Of Intimidation

Jeremy Renner Accused of Intimidation by Filmmaker Yi Zhou

Actor Jeremy Renner, known for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel films, has been accused of misconduct by filmmaker Yi Zhou. According to Zhou, the 54-year-old actor sent her unsolicited explicit images and later threatened to have her deported.

Zhou stated that the inappropriate messages began in June 2024, when Renner allegedly sent her intimate photos without consent. After confronting him about his behavior, Zhou claims Renner responded with intimidation.

“It is with deep regret, sadness, and disappointment that I am compelled to share a truth I have been holding inside for too long,” Zhou wrote. “Mr. Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behavior that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before.”

She further described how Renner allegedly escalated the situation when she attempted to address his actions in private.

“When I called him out privately about his past misconduct and asked him to behave properly, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me, an act that deeply shocked and frightened me,” Zhou stated. “No woman, filmmaker, or creative should have to work under such emotional and psychological pressure while trying to protect her name and the integrity of her work.”

A representative for Renner has been approached by Stanisland Magazine for comment, but no public response has been issued yet.
