Community Day to Bring Free Movies and Discounts to Ontario Theatres
Cineplex Community Day, now in its 13th year, returns to participating Ontario theatres on November 15. The event invites movie lovers to enjoy free screenings and low-priced snacks.
Guests can also take advantage of free gaming sessions at The Rec Room and Playdium locations, adding to the day’s entertainment options.
“Cineplex Community Day is consistently one of my favourite days of the year, as we welcome guests from communities across the country to join us for a morning of free movies or to engage in some friendly competition at The Rec Room or Playdium,” said Ellis Jacob, president and CEO of Cineplex.
Free movie tickets will be distributed in person starting at 9 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.

Discounted Snacks and Arcade Fun
Until 11 a.m., regular popcorn, drinks, and selected candies will each cost $3 plus tax. Cineplex’s XSCAPE arcades will also give away free 30-minute play cards or tokens for non-redemption games.
