Cineplex Community Day 2025: Free Movies and Gaming on November 15
Celebrate Community Day on Saturday, November 15, with free movies and gaming at Cineplex theatres, Rec Room, Playdium, and XSCAPE locations while supporting BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
Free Movie Screenings at Cineplex Theatres
Enjoy a complimentary morning movie at your local Cineplex. Universal Pictures will showcase family-friendly films including:
- Minions: The Rise of Gru
- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- Sing 2
- The Wild Robot
During the event, select concession items such as regular popcorn, drinks, and candy will be available for $3 each, plus tax.
Free Gaming and Snacks at XSCAPE, Rec Room, and Playdium
- XSCAPE: 30 minutes of free non-redemption gaming for visitors.
- The Rec Room and Playdium: Open from 9:00 a.m. offering free one-hour non-redemption game bands.
- Until noon, The Rec Room serves fries and mini donuts for $3 each.
- Playdium offers fries, popcorn, drinks, and candy at the same $3 price.
Supporting BGC Canada
One dollar from every food and beverage purchase, XSCAPE playcard sale or reload, and game band transaction at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada.
One dollar from every concession order of select items during the event, including popcorn, soft drinks, and candy, will also support this national nonprofit.
