Danish toy maker LEGO has announced its first Star Trek set: the Icons series USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from The Next Generation. The iconic Enterprise that served Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew is now available as a detailed LEGO model.
This is the fifth Federation starship to bear the Enterprise name (sixth if you include the NX-01 from the Enterprise prequel). Although it was destroyed in the film Star Trek: Generations, the Galaxy-class starship returns as a LEGO set designed to occupy significant space on your desk.
