Alan Carr Flees to the US Before 'Celebrity Traitors' Final

Comedian Alan Carr has temporarily relocated to the United States ahead of the much-anticipated final of the BBC reality series Celebrity Traitors. The 49-year-old entertainer, known for his sharp wit and infectious laugh, joined singer Cat Burns, 25, as one of the last two Traitors remaining in the competition.

Despite his growing online popularity, Carr confessed he felt under fire in the UK following recent episodes of the show. During an interview with Heart radio hosts Olly Murs and Mark Wright, he joked about escaping the criticism by traveling to Orlando, Florida, with his niece and nephew.

“I'm the most hated man in the UK, I've had to come here to Orlando to get away from it. Everyone hates me!”

“I just needed to get away because it's stressful murdering every day. My Christmas card list is getting smaller and smaller.”

Listening to his remarks, Murs humorously suggested that Carr embrace the theme of his show at Universal Studios by donning a Traitor-style cape from Harry Potter World. Carr laughed off the idea, explaining that he simply wanted a break from all the drama.

“I've come here for a break!”

He even joked that he might take on the famous Volcano Bay waterslide while wearing the cape and holding his Traitors lantern. Meanwhile, Carr also mentioned that his close friend Paloma Faith was “not happy” about some of his actions on the show.
