The Weather Team at Alaska’s News Source has declared a First Alert Weather Day for Thursday as snow is likely to impact southcentral Alaska.
An area of low pressure in the Gulf of Alaska is bringing wet weather to the southeast and will move moisture into southcentral Alaska, triggering a November snowfall. Snow is expected to begin around midday and continue into the evening.
The storm is expected to largely clear by Friday.
