Celebrity Traitors star Alan Carr 'poached for new BBC game show'

Celebrity Traitors Star Alan Carr Joins New BBC Game Show

Alan Carr, well-known for his role as a Traitor on the popular BBC One gameshow Celebrity Traitors, is set to gain even more visibility. The ITV star, who also stars in his own sitcom Changing Ends on the same channel, has been "poached" by the BBC for an upcoming project.

The 49-year-old comedian was recently flown abroad to film a pilot for a new prime-time quiz show featuring celebrity guests, according to The Sun. This comes amid rumours of a fresh TV deal for Carr, nearly a decade after his Channel 4 chat show Chatty Man ended.

This new contract is expected to put Alan in direct competition with Celebrity Traitors co-star Jonathan Ross, who recently signed on to continue hosting his talk show The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV.

"Unquestionably, Alan is the hottest man on TV right now. Everyone wants a piece of him. But the BBC have acted quickly and last week he was jetted out to a swanky European city for a day of filming a pilot."
