German leisure airline Condor has concluded 35 years of Boeing 757 operations by conducting a special farewell flight with the last aircraft in its fleet. On November 5, 2025, the Boeing 757-300, registered D-ABOM and adorned in a distinctive red-and-white candy-striped livery, flew a round-trip from Frankfurt to Vienna carrying more than 100 passengers before retiring from commercial service.
For over three decades, the Boeing 757’s slim, pencil-like design was central to Condor’s short and medium-haul fleet. The airline operated 18 Boeing 757-200s and nine of the larger 757-300 models, according to ch-aviation.
In recent weeks, the remaining 757s were retired, with many sent to Cotswold Airport in the UK for dismantling. The final flight featured long-time Condor staff, journalists, and devoted fans of the Boeing 757.
“A total of 75 tickets were auctioned via the Condor online shop back in September 2025 for a chance to be on the final flight.”
Condor’s farewell flight marks the end of an era for the airline and celebrates the long service of the Boeing 757 in its fleet.
Summary: Condor concluded 35 years of Boeing 757 service with a special farewell flight on November 5, 2025, retiring its last 757-300 after decades as a core part of its fleet.
