MRI Reveals Heat’s Bam Adebayo Has Toe Sprain, Out for Friday
The Miami Heat’s depth issues in the middle became clear even before Bam Adebayo exited during the first quarter of Wednesday night’s 122–112 loss to the Denver Nuggets. Following the game, an MRI on Thursday confirmed that Adebayo suffered a sprained left big toe.
He has been ruled out for Friday’s home matchup against the Charlotte Hornets at Kaseya Center and is considered day-to-day moving forward. The Heat will take on the Portland Trail Blazers the following night, also at home.
