Search Underway for Man Swept Away in Goodyear Flooding
A search is underway for a man who was allegedly swept away while attempting to cross flooding near Goodyear on Sunday morning, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call around 3:30 a.m. regarding a person who attempted to cross a wash near 214th Avenue and Narramore Road, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
- A truck that had been carried away by water, which allegedly belonged to the man, has been located.
- The man, reportedly Vincent Upton, is still missing.
