Pueblo Police Investigating Tenth Homicide of 2025
Pueblo Police are investigating the tenth homicide of 2025 after a man died from a gunshot wound.
On September 24, around 2:22 p.m., officers responded to a possible auto theft near the 3000 block of West Northern Ave. While on the scene, they heard shots fired in the nearby parking lot. The communication center also received a report of a fight involving weapons.
A male victim, later identified as 27-year-old Xavier Manzanares from Pueblo, was found with a gunshot wound. He later died from the injury at a local hospital.
The case is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed, according to the Pueblo Police Department.
