More than 70 appointments need to be filled to meet the rising blood demand in hospitals.
Echuca locals are being encouraged to donate blood and save up to three lives in the process this November and December.
The Australian Red Cross Lifeblood’s mobile donor centre will visit the town amid rising demand for blood in hospitals each year.
A blood donation is a selfless gift that can not only save lives but can improve the quality of lives and give people more precious time with their loved ones.
Lifeblood spokesperson Ashbyi Randall thanked the Echuca community for its support and generosity so far.
