Kiara Murphy Appointed New Weddings and Events Manager of Shandon Hotel
The 4-star Shandon Hotel and Spa in Dunfanaghy has announced the appointment of Kiara Murphy as its new Weddings and Events Manager.
Kiara holds a BA in Hospitality Management from ATU Donegal Killybegs and has been a key member of the team since 2019.
My first job in hospitality was in fact in the Shandon in 2008 when the McGlade family owned the hotel,
she recalls. Kiara previously worked as a waitress in Arnolds Hotel Dunfanaghy, where she was guided by Aisling Arnold to pursue a career in the industry.
The Shandon Hotel reopened its doors in 2016 under new ownership, led by General Manager Carolynne Murray.
