Alessio Milivojevic made his first start for Michigan State, taking the field alongside Aidan Chiles for warmups at Minnesota on Saturday.
Chiles, who has thrown for 1,392 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, took a backseat to Milivojevic, but showed his support by slapping his pads and shaking his hand.
Me and Aidan have a great relationship... he was just giving me some tips, just hyping me up and making sure I was ready to go.
Milivojevic went on to complete 20 of 28 passes for 311 yards, the most in a Michigan State debut since Rocky Lombardi threw for 318 against Purdue in 2018.
