Davitts have secured their spot in the All-Ireland club championship final with a 2-14 to 3-4 win over Dunloy of Antrim.
The semi-final match was closely contested in the first half, with Dunloy taking the lead through a goal by Oonagh Elliott after 15 minutes. However, Davitts responded with a goal from Mary Kelly, and she added a second goal just before the break to give her team a 2-8 to 2-4 lead.
The second half was dominated by Davitts, with top scorer Lourda Kavanagh in fine form. Despite a late consolation goal from Majella Connolly for Dunloy, Davitts emerged victorious and will face Limerick and Munster champions Granagh/Ballingarry in the final on November 2.
