Could last season’s runner-up become this summer’s champion? Rochester's class proved too strong in round four of the 2025-26 McMahon Shield against Nondies-Cohuna.
At Cohuna Recreation Reserve, Nondies-Cohuna won the toss and chose to bat first, with captain Josh Novoselek and Matt Oddie starting strong. However, Sean Williams took two wickets, including Oddie (16) and Jamal Sukhon (0), in four balls.
Novoselek and Xavier Wishart then established consistency, putting on 63 runs before Wishart (20) was undone by Jesse Cuttriss. After this, the game became uncertain.
