Threads Introduces New Features for Enhanced User Control
Meta has announced the rollout of two new features on Threads, aiming to provide users with greater control over content visibility.
- New "mentions" and "people you follow" filters in the Activity tab for fine-tuning visible replies.
- A "review and approve replies" option when drafting posts, allowing users to approve replies before they become public.
These features will be available on the Threads iPhone app and are expected to roll out on other platforms. Threads, launched by Meta in 2023, is a social media platform competing with X, Bluesky, and Mastodon, with 150 million daily active users.
