Sheridan Family Reunited After Son's Battle with Cancer
Gabe Watson's parents, Emily and Sam, express their gratitude as their son overcomes cancer.
I am grateful to be on the other side of this experience. It's strengthened my faith in God, love for my family and my appreciation for others around me.
In July 2025, the family, including Abi, Gabe, William, and Kayla, took a trip to North Carolina, courtesy of Make-A-Wish Wyoming.
- Gabe underwent three rounds of chemotherapy and a g-tube surgery.
- He was diagnosed with an Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor, a form of brain cancer.
- Since March 2025, Gabe has been in remission after battling cancer for almost a year.
The family's trip was a celebration of Gabe's recovery, where they enjoyed time together in Surf City, North Carolina.
