Turkey Signs £8bn Deal With UK for 20 Eurofighter Typhoons
The UK and Turkey have signed an agreement worth £8bn for the purchase of 20 Eurofighter Typhoons.
UK Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara to finalize the deal.
"This landmark agreement with Türkiye is a win for British workers, a win for our defence industry, and a win for NATO security,"
said Starmer. Secretary of State for Defence John Healey added that the deal is the biggest jet exports deal in a generation and will pump billions of pounds into the UK economy.
