A woman caused damage to a truck in a downtown intersection last summer, court heard on Friday.
Ashley Biron was holding knives at Albert Street East and Bruce Street, threatening to kill someone on August 24, 2024, according to assistant Crown attorney Adrianna Mucciarelli.
These incidents occurred between March 2024 and September 2025, as heard by Ontario Court Justice Andrew Buttazzoni.
She ran from police and said "I'm going to kill somebody,"
Biron held handlebars over her head and has 33 days of pre-sentence custody, with one-and-a-half days credit for each day of incarceration.
Justice Buttazzoni suggested Biron may have been having a "mental health episode" when she hurled an item at the truck.
